A note from Cheryl ...

Image restoration has been my primary focus since 2010. I love bringing old photos back to new again and honouring the stories each one tells.

I am always amazed that even though photos are in the worst possible condition, people are unable to part with them.
Every time a finished restoration project is met with tears upon delivery, I am reminded of how much I love this important work!

I look forward to working with you to create your family keepsake soon. Please feel welcome to contact me directly.

How long does it take?

Usually your photo will be restored within 10 working days or less.

Once the restoration is completed you will receive a PROOF DOCUMENT via email complete with the before and after images of your restoration, and any options specific to your project such as size and colour.

** You must approve your proof, or request further adjustments by replying to that email. **

If you have not already selected your print style, this can be done at this point. We will offer suggestions that suit your project in the Proof Document.

Please plan ahead for busy times like Valentine's Day, and Christmas Holidays.

Although photo prints are quick, some print styles require more time. Busy holiday seasons also affect printing and shipping times.

What if I want more copies later?

Just send us an email, we'll get right on it!

Your project files will be archived here for safekeeping and future use.

Are your prints good quality?

We offer a variety of print options including Desk-top and Wall display, as well as loose or matted prints.

We carefully select the products we offer you, our valued clients.

  • All the print products we select must be Archival Quality, meaning they are rated for 100-200 years fade resistance. They must be created with the highest quality processes and materials including inks, papers, and all other materials used.
  • Those print products must be produced by Canadian companies who are environmentally conscious and practice sustainability.
  • Those Canadian companies must stand behind their products 100%.

What if I don't have access to a scanner?

You can mail in your originals if you are not able to scan them. We recommend using the prepaid flat rate cardboard mailers or boxes with tracking services available from Canada Post.

In severe cases (severely damaged photos), it is often better if we scan then here using our professional equipment.

We encourage you to try the smartphone app Photo Scan by Google. It's free and easy to learn. It prepares a file suitable in size for us to restore.

Your originals NEVER leave our studio!

Can you work from a slide or negative?

Your restoration project can begin with a digital file, print, slide, film negative, tintype, or glass negative.
